Handcrafted to embody everything our Highland Estate stands for, The Wild One is Arbikie’s first and most exclusive release - just 100 individually hand-blown bottles, each holding a whisky shaped by wild, spontaneous fermentation and the raw beauty of our terroir. Never to be repeated, this untamed inaugural spirit is a true collector’s prize, capturing history, rarity, and the purest expression of Arbikie in every sip.

Each bottle is priced at £30,000 or £3.2 million for the entire collection.

The Untamed Beginning

Shaped by nature and unleashed by chance, The Wild One is Arbikie’s first and most radical release - our first whisky to ever leave the cask. Born of spontaneous, wild fermentation and crafted without control or compromise, it is a raw, untamed expression of Highland terroir in its purest form.

Released just once in 100 individually hand-blown bottles, each created by Glasstorm, this unrepeatable whisky marks a singular moment in Arbikie’s history - where over 400 years of family farming meets nature’s own design, never to be recreated.

Each field is understood, respected, and worked individually, rather than treated as part of an anonymous whole. This intimacy with place allows subtle variations of character to emerge in the spirit and keeps it entirely traceable.

Our coastal Angus soil shapes the grain from the ground up, influencing texture, depth, and flavour long before distillation begins. Healthy, living soil is the quiet architect of our whisky’s complexity.

We select and grow our own barley varieties, chosen for flavour rather than yield alone. This control at the very start ensures character, consistency, and a true sense of origin.

Pure water drawn from our own on-estate source is used at every stage of production. Its clarity and mineral balance contribute to the elegance and purity of the final spirit.

Our bespoke copper still is designed to preserve nuance and encourage refinement. It allows us to distil slowly and precisely, capturing the finest expressions of our estate-grown spirit.
